Floodlighting Maintenance

Bi-annual maintenance and cleaning is highly recommended to keep your sports floodlighting or area lighting system in optimal working order. This is an essential part of looking after your floodlights.

A floodlighting system that is not maintained may result in a reduction in output of up to 12%, and if no maintenance is carried out over a long period it can lead to costly repairs as the equipment ages.

Here at Surfacelux we offer a superb floodlight maintenance service to prevent sometimes costly repairs. We recommend the following work is carried out at the indicated service intervals for both traditional metal-halide and modern LED lighting systems:

1. 2 Year minor service – This covers the full cleaning, greasing, alignment and operation of switching devices.
2. 4 Year service – This covers the full cleaning, greasing, alignment and operation of switching devices.
3. 6 Year service – This covers the full cleaning, greasing, alignment and operation of switching devices and will also cover a complete lamp change and full electrical periodic inspection and certification.

From Year 6 onwards the process would be repeated all over again.
