University of Chester – LED Sports Lighting Project

This site in Chester at the Parkgate Road Campus had the sports areas, a twin tennis court block, full size hockey pitch and a full size 3G pitch. The areas all had ageing 2 kilowatt metal halide luminaires which were becoming expensive to maintain with regular extensive repairs and spare parts becoming ever harder to source.

The project brief was a to offer a full turnkey design and installation service to retrofit LED lighting to the existing lighting columns.

After a competitive tender process we were selected to undertake the works to all three areas.

 

We chose and designed the schemes using Philips Optivision LED Luminaires due to their advanced optical capabilities, class-leading outputs and lengthy warranties, the project was delivered on time and on budget.
