What we do

Surfacelux are a specialist floodlight, sports lighting and area lighting company, providing design, installation, maintenance, and upgrading of sports floodlighting, LED sports lighting and area lighting systems. We’ve been successful in business since 2005, operating throughout the whole of the UK for contractors, local authorities, town councils and private clients.

Surfacelux offers a wide range of bespoke floodlighting designs to suit your needs from tennis courts to football and rugby pitches, hockey and netball courts, athletics tracks, multi-use games areas and BMX track facilities, universities, school playing fields and car park lighting for hospitals, shopping centers, roads and the public realm. Surfacelux products and services are offered with full UK nationwide coverage.

Our Staff and accreditations

Each project has a team of dedicated, qualified and trained staff who all hold health and safety certificates, CSCS cards and are DBS checked.

We abide by health and safety regulations and are members of the following professional bodies to ensure our work is of the highest quality including Capita, AVETA, CSCS, IPAF, PICS, CHAS and the NICEIC – National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting which ensure the following:

• Ensure work is carried out to the current edition of BS 7671; the IET Wiring Regulations
• Ensure certification is issued on completion of installation work, as directed by BS 7671
• Have up-to-date copies of BS 7671
• Have competence with test instruments as outlined by Part 6 (“Inspection and Testing”) of BS 7671; the IET Wiring Regulations
• Have public liability insurance of at least £2m.
